nine geese web endeavours

Your web endeavors

Before defining what your business does, or ours or anyone else’s, we suggest you do the following experiment. In your browser, look up: hut, tool, diesel, umbrella, surgery, string. What came up in your SERP (Search Engine Results Page)? Do you find anything in common with the search results? Yes, the answer is along those lines. The Wikipedia.org search page as a reference came up first in all of them. In others and less constantly, Amazon or Walmart will show up. For these two meta-retailers, we could look for words such as: piano, engine oil, home theaters, razor and they will be in the top of your SERP. The results will also depend a lot on your previous searches, your device, the users identified by your device, the date, the area where you did the search and many other variables in the search engine environment, as well as your browser (since it will also tend to give favorable results to its manufacturers and/or partners).

Why do these results appear in the first places? What are they doing well that your company or business isn’t? Are they moved by market or preferences?

Let’s make it clear that nobody apart from Google, Microsoft, Apple, Mozilla, etc know exactly how the search algorithms (software tools with a very complex level of rapidly changing variants) work. The only thing that exists is a kind of reverse engineering luck, large volumes of experimentation and, above all, intuition added to a certain logic. Any specialist who says that they perfectly dominate these algorithms, is very possibly lying.

Of course there are services of various kinds that are very efficient tools, but once again, you need qualified and full-time staff to follow up. We do not believe that this is your case.

What about geese in terms of money?

The first coin minting came up in Rome around 360 BC, and it celebrated, among other things, that the geese of the goddess Juno alerted the Romans of an invasion. Ok, this does not concern us at the moment and is completely out of the subject, but it is an interesting fact about the character and symbolism of the geese; with which – as you now know – we are identified.

Today the competition between browsers and their respective search engines is interesting:

Chrome 57.0%

Safari. 13.4%

Internet Explorer & Edge. 9.4%

Firefox 6.9%

Opera. 3.3%

So the rules of the online market are very much dictated by the users browsing, what they search for,  who is browsing, who gives back the best, freshest and most complete result, what has happened socioeconomically with the words that were searched: promotions, advertisements, bans, shortages, variants, and a very long etcetera.

In such manner that, if your company or business wanted to be aware of everything surrounding your product or service at all times, you would need to install a “war room” whose sole mission would be to monitor every aspect of what goes on in the web in relation to your company’s interest.

Fortunately there is no need for that. Why? Because that is what Nine Geese is here for, to be, among other things, your war room and most powerful weapon to rank your business at a level where coins can be heard falling into your virtual piggy bank.

We are focused on obtaining comprehensive results and solutions, so that when your business grows, ours walks along the same path. Let those of us who enjoy these concepts drive you with great force and confidence and guide you towards reaching your set goals. Your success is our success (literally).
